The road bridge on County Trunk PP at the Oakdale interchange reopened to traffic on Friday after nearly three months of construction.
The bridge was closed in February while bridge replacement work was done by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The DOT also widened the road, replaced pavement and laid new concrete on the on and off ramps.
Project engineer Brad Byom said that the remainder of the project should be completed by late June, and will include portions of the interchange ramp, right turn lanes on off ramps and landscaping. A snowmobile trail, which will run along County Trunk PP, has also yet to be constructed.
