Letter: Is Obama black enough?

Is this letter heading a legitimate question? Do you think it’s offensive? Public Radio repeated it two or three times that I heard. I’d say the question has been answered. The super liberals, the socialists, the extreme left have been deserting the first black president’s wife, Hillary Rodham, like she was a leper. The reason is Obama is more Marxist than Hillary. What is hard to believe is 85 percent of blacks are supporting Barack Hussein Obama.

It can’t be a racial thing. Obama is half white. I question his patriotism. Examples: A. He takes no pride in the flag; B. If a child survives an abortion, Barack says the law should be allowed to kill the child anyway, and C. He has been associated with a black racist preacher for 20+ years. Liberation theology was introduced into Central and South America in the 1970s. The Jesuits tried to garble Catholicism with Communism. It was a complete failure. Black liberation theology is a garbling of Bible and American history mixed with Communism and is designed to cause problems amongst the races. How long would you listen to a sermon where the pastor preaches (no, no, no not God bless America, but God blank America?)

I wouldn’t have heard the end of the sermon. Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago isn’t a church, it is a tool for some of the most conniving conspiracy theories ever uttered. I come down on the side that says Obama is somewhat racist and anti-American. He’s denying half his own heritage. Unable to segregate himself from the despicable pastor Jeremiah Wright makes him guilty of racism even if just by association.

Obama would have done well to listen to people like Bill Cosby who says it is about time some of his fellow blacks quit blaming white people for their problems. Do you think that anyone listening for 20+ years to an agitating racist pastor is fit to be the president of our free society? From Apples of Gold: People believe what they want to believe despite all the evidence to the contrary.

" I must agree with your post, the latest gaffe was yesterday I believe

Obama stated:

"his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz."

2 points here 1st. He has no uncle and Number 2 which shows that Obama doesn't know US history very well is There was no American Brigade in Auschwitz it was liberated by the ruskies

actually Auschwitz of course is in Poland. It was liberated by the Red Army on Jan 27 1945. Poland

The Allies were wrapping up the battle of the bulge in late January of 1945 the Rhine crossings were still well into the future when Auschwitz was liberated. Either Obamas uncle served in the Red Army, or hes spinning Clintonesque lies about Auschwitz to sell his government programs.

also OBAMA doesn't understand what Memorial Day is supposed to be about, as he looked out in his following yesterday he says "I see some of them among us today" either he "I see dead people" or he is lost "

" Brains do, and BARAK has very little, he's an empty suite.

O'bama thinks we have 57 states

he's a gaffe machine

Those that follow someone because of there looks or the fact that they can "TALK" real good. in other words they are Very "ARTICULATE" and not understand what they are saying is really showing there ignorance on the issues.

I have listened to this guy and This guy is nothing more than a "USED CAR" salesman

Obama could give Bubba Clinton lessons on how to "FEEL YOUR PAIN" I'm surprised I haven't heard O'bama use that line yet

O'bama will say or promise anything to get elected, but he says such nice things like
"HOPE' and "CHANGE" this is so unbelievable laughable.

"HOPE and CHANGE" yeah if he gets elected we are all going to "HOPE" for another "CHANGE" as soon as possible with this clown "

Chris King wrote on May 23, 2008 8:45 AM:

" "GJD" talking about anonymity...that's quite amusing. Why are you so concerned about my anonymity? Your over-concern of my identity is disturbing. Please, let's remember that I am a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment, lest anyone get any truly criminal ideas!

I guess it would be better if I published my address so that the pseudo-Gestapo could track me down and silence me for being such a radical! (please feel the sarcasm)

You see, people like you are fascists at heart. You feel that you have the obligation to silence dissent for the "good of the people." You are foolish, and your support of Obama demonstrats a complete lack of what it means to live in an open, free and Democratic Republic. "

" You will say what you want on here in relative anonymity. How brave of you. Your post is inflammatory and racist in its nature and you are attempting to tar a good man so your side can win. How Christian of you. "

Chris King wrote on May 22, 2008 6:45 AM:

" "...stow the racist nonsense..." Yeah, I wish Obama and his church would do that! You can accuse me all you want, if my "politically incorrect" words make you uncomfortable it's not my problem! As for "speaking for God or Jesus..." I have already explained that I am unconcerned whether un-repentant believers or cultural christians are offended by my words. If you can't handle the truth then don't believe it, or don't read my words, but don't even dare to try to stifle my words! I will say what I want to, when I want to, how I want to! This is America, and our military and forefathers fought, died, and bleed for our right to say whatever we please! I will not kowtow to liberal fascist that wish to silence any dissent, or stuff any opposition to their "better way!" Understand! "

" You are such a small pathetic man and represent so much that is wrong in out country at the momenet. This is a very good man who is running for president. Don't vote for him if you chose, but stow the racist nonsense and don't claim to speak for god or Jesus. "

" Yes, Obama is bi-racial. However, by his own adherence to "Black Liberation Theology," and the medias dubbing of him as the "first black President" many may not realize that. It would appear that he may have forgotten also. I think he overcompensates for his "blackness" due to some internal conflict over his black father and Barry's struggle to identify with his father. Seriously, check out the article entitled when Barry became Barack and check out his book "Dreams of My Father." It is his more honest book, before his Presidential aspirations, and you will see what I'm talking about. "

" I, too, think for myself, and I think the Democratic candidate is going to win the election in November. Maybe it will be Barack, maybe it will be Hillary, or maybe there will be such gridlock at the convention that it will be John Edwards. Also, to you and everyone else who is so confused--Barack Obama is NOT black. He is NOT white. He should be loud and proud of his mixed-race heritage. Long live diversity--racial, sexual, and gender--in politics. If you weren't so blinded by your so-far-to-the-right Christian views, you could appreciate the beauty of that diversity. Stop hiding behind Jesus' robes. "

Chris King wrote on May 21, 2008 11:02 AM:

" Which poll? I've seen polls where Obama is leading, and I've seen polls where McCain is leading. Polls don't mean anything to me or people that think for themselves, particularly when they are statistically even or very close!

The major media outlets have crowned Obama as the messiah of their left-wing, anti-family, anti-christian, anti-common sense agendas. Furthermore, Obama and his cohorts are slyly trying to frame the election in terms that makes it politically incorrect to question their messiah.

Obama is a wolf in all-to-unconvincing sheep's clothing, and most of America, which politically is center-right on the spectrum, know it. Mark my words, McCain will win BY AT LEAST TEN POINTS!

The Dems would have had a better chance with Clinton, and they are going to lose this election (just like 2004) because they are beholden to the left-wing extremists, which is now the base of the Democratic party. "

" "To sum this all up, Obama is racist (exposed from his continued membership in a "church" that preaches hatred), anti-American, left of Kennnedy (may he live long and prosper), supporter of all that God hates, and a socialist! Why would anybody be foolish enough to think that this man has any chance in the general election?"

---Probably because Obama leads McCain in the polls. Doesn't take a fool to figure he has a chance of winning when he leads in the polls.

Stop talking. You hurt the Christian cause. Let the words of vastly intelligent men like C.S. Lewis and John Paul II influence people. You sound insane. "

Chris King wrote on May 20, 2008 4:44 PM:

" I completely agree. Obama is soooo far left that there is no chance he will ever get elected. Furthermore, how does anyone feel that a black candidate that has anti-"white America" roots has a chance in this election? I know that most would vote for the best person for the job without any regard to race. However, when the black man that is running comes from the background that Obama does, (anti-American, espouses "white privilege" as an excuse for black crime, attends a church that insists upon distorting the true Gospel of Jesus Christ as if it has anything to do with race, etc...)nobody in their right mind will vote for him!

You could see it in NC. What was it, 93% of blacks that voted cast their ballot for Obama? Obama's candidacy, not because of his race, but because of his ideology has caused a racial divide. (I also happen to believe that an Obama Presidency would open the gates for the horrendous idea of reparations. Because, after all, it is because of "white privilege" that many black people are struggling. So, why shouldn't our government have to pay to enable those same struggling black people to continue to disregard personal responsibility and blame everyone but themselves and poor decision making.)

Furthermore, when Obama makes statements about a woman being "punished" with a baby, you've got to understand the kind of mindset that exposes! Regardless of where you fall on the issue of abortion, I don't think anyone feels that a baby is punishment.

Finally, the sentiments that people "cling" to their guns, faith, and a desire to protect the boarders from illegal immigrants as a symptom of bitterness toward failed government is a joke. People want their guns because they like to hunt, protect their families, and they want to preserve their best tools against any potential tyranny by our government. People do cling to their faith, but it has nothing to do with the failures of government. It is because faith demands devotion, and yes people are comforted in hard times by their faith, but again, nothing to do with government. Finally, wanting the boarders sealed to prevent people from breaking our laws has nothing to do with bitterness. It has to do with the ideal of enforcing our laws.

To sum this all up, Obama is racist (exposed from his continued membership in a "church" that preaches hatred), anti-American, left of Kennnedy (may he live long and prosper), supporter of all that God hates, and a socialist! Why would anybody be foolish enough to think that this man has any chance in the general election? Especially, when he will be running against a man, McCain, that stands for and represents everything that made this country great! "

So frequently I read of hate and racism attempted to be perfumed with patriotism or religion. As a confirmed optimist, I keep waiting for those hard headed, negative spewing, oh-so-always-right commentors to show a tiny chink in their view of how wrong the rest of us are, but then realize that will never happen. How miserable they must be! "
