The Monroe County Highway Department reports that County Highway PP between Grotto Avenue and Grosbeak Avenue in the Town of Oakdale is temporarily closed due to high water.
A detour route will not be signed. The Highway Department advises that alternate travel arrangements be made. The highway will be reopened when flood waters recede and the highway can be inspected for damage. County Highway Commissioner Jack Ditmar said that the road could be opened as early as Friday night, but will most likely open Saturday.
