Three juvenile males were taken into custody for an alleged armed robbery in Sparta Saturday.

The Sparta Police Department received a complaint of an armed robbery that occurred in downtown Sparta around 2:30 p.m. The 18-year-old victim said that a group of three males approached him and took his bicycle at knife point, according to a release from the Sparta Police Department.

Three juveniles were later taken into custody Saturday. One of the juvenile males is being held at a juvenile detention facility, and the two others were released after questioning.
