Motorcyclist hurt in crash

One person was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday in the township of Glendale.

Eric Miller, 37, of Camp Douglas was traveling south on Cty. Hwy. W and had just come over a small hill around 7:30 p.m. when he saw dogs in the road, according to a report from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. Miller swerved to avoid hitting the dogs and his motorcycle went into a ditch. The motorcycle tipped over and came to rest on top of Miller.

Miller was able to get out from under the motorcycle on his own. He received minor injuries as a result from the crash and declined medical attention. He was wearing a helmet and eye protection at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
