Three Wisconsin drivers drove to victory in last weekend’s Wisconsin Dairyland Super National Tractor Pull at Tomah Recreation Park.
All six sessions were run despite the threat of rain. Saturday’s session was delayed one hour due to an afternoon rainstorm, but competition was still held in every class.
Mark Peissig was the first Wisconsin driver to claim victory. He won the light super stock division Friday night with a full pull of 310.415 feet. He beat fellow Wisconsin driver Alan Norby of Mondovi by nine feet.
On Sunday afternoon, Todd Maloney drove his rig “Untamed Brute” to victory in the super farm tractor division. His full pull went 314.970.
In the same session, Brian Korth of Beaver emerged victorious in the light super stock division. His “Considered Armed and Dangerous” tractor led Wisconsin drivers to a one-two-three finish. Kevin Lynn of Unity was second, and Peissig was third.
A pair of Camp Douglas puller competed. Mike Finucan took his “Dollars and No Sense” vehicle into the two-wheel drive division. He finished 41st Friday night and 32nd Saturday night.
Todd Hanson competed in the mini rods. He was 26th Friday night and 23rd Friday afternoon with his “Make It Fit” entry.
Dan Walsh of Lyndon Station competed in the two-wheel drive division. He was sixth on Friday night and fourth on Saturday night.
